The Red Lion has a great reputation for our food. Customers return time and again, a real testament to our great food and friendly attentive staff.

Our kitchen, under Head Chef Ricky Adams,  produces excellent homemade food using quality produce from local suppliers. Our menu varies from our famous wedge of proper steak and ale pie with hand-cut chips to weekly specials including fresh fish dishes. The Red Lion Sunday Roast is extremely popular and promises a real home from home roast. Our delicious desserts are mostly homemade. Fresh sandwiches are available every lunchtime and our popular nibbles board is always available to accompany your pint.

We are very busy and it is always ‘best to book’ especially at weekends and holiday times.

Food is served from 12 noon every day at The Red Lion. Our kitchen is closed 3-6pm Mon-Thur. Latest bookings for food is at 7.30pm Sunday and Monday and 8.30pm every other day.

Parties of eight or more are asked to pre-order please and all our menus are on the link provided.
Sorry no babies or children under six allowed in the pub, however, there is lovely seating on the village green should the weather be favourable.
